I want you to know/ from God to you

I want you to know that you have a place in my family. You are loved, wanted, and needed more than you know. My love for you is the fire in your heart that can never be put out. You have an important role in my plan. I will always take care of you. I will be there to make you strong when you are at your weakest. If you need help, I'll there. When you call me, I will come. If you are in pain, I will heal you. When you are in danger, I will immediately come to your aid to protect and save you from harm. If you need anything more, I will supply.

Yours forever...

What I believe

I believe that the only way to go to heaven is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as the savior.
I believe that Jesus is the chosen one and he died for our sins
I believe Jesus is the son of GodI believe in the Holy Spirit
I believe in eternal life after death
I believe that when Jesus was on this earth he did miracles
I believe in the power of prayer
I believe in the rapture
I believe that God can still do miracles in our life

Cry for help. Psalm 69 1-3 14-15 29-30 NLT (new living translation)

Save me
Rescue me
I am drowning
I'm drowning in the flood of my own sin
Deeper and deeper I sink
I can't find a foothold to keep above water
I need your help
Pull me out of the deep water
Don't let me sink any deeper
Don't let the floods overwhelm me
I am suffering in pain
Rescue me by your saving power
I will praise your name with singing
and I will honor you with thanksgiving

A knock at the door

I want to tell you a story about a troubled girl. She was standing at her bedroom door looking at a picture of Jesus talking to him. She was telling him all about her troubles and pleading for forgiveness. Suddenly, she hears a knock at her door. She opens the door. No one was there. She knew it was Jesus and she let him in. She let him into her life and into her heart.

Broken

When things are broken, we fix them with knowledge patience and care; using different tools for different tasks. Same goes for people. Each one of us have our own specific type of tools. There is one universal tool that all of us can rely on and that is God. Some of us don't realise this, but we can't fix ourselves completely. We can try to cover it up like duct tape on a cracked faucet, but that's only temporary; when God fixes you, it's for good. When I get broken, I trust that God will help fix me because he loves me and knows what's best for me. Brokenness can be a good thing because it brings people together. What we go through makes us stronger. We can relate to people and are humbled when we are broken. With God's help, we are not beyond repair.

One of my struggles. Saying goodbye to Pappa.

I have a really hard time trying to get over my grandpa's death. He was my best friend and God took him away from me far too soon. He died of liver disease. He was a great man with great values and beliefs. I love him so much for being in my life and being my teacher. He's taught me so many things in my life while he was here. Just watching our family have fun together, all of us laughing at jokes, and reminiscing was my favorite family lesson from him. He was my favorite role-model and I miss him dearly.

Rocky Road

The Christian road some choose to travel is a rocky one. We have challenges each day. Romans 5:3 says that we should rejoice in our struggles knowing that it helps us build endurance. Endurance builds character. Character builds confidence for salvation.

In God's eyes, we are all perfect; but I believe perfect in the bible means owning up to your mistakes and admitting what you've done. It also means knowing that you're not perfect by the worlds standards. We miss understand that meaning sometimes. I don't want to step on anyone's toes but church isn't for show-offs, pedestals, and masks; it's for real people; broken people asking God to heal them.

This road we Christians now travel today has been paved through the blood, sweat, and tears of the prophets and followers of Jesus Christ in times when there were no churches for Christians. Many dedicated Christians lost their lives because people were afraid of something other than what they believed. Times haven't changed since then. We still get scoffed at and mocked, but at least we get to keep our lives. My heroes are the people who made the changes regardless of what others thought and were active in their faith till death; Not the people who were too afraid to do anything and had a passive faith.

About my blog

This blog's purpose is to tell people about God and my experiences working with him. It's about my view on things about him and life in general. It's about the choices I make and how I choose to use the outcome of those choices to help people. It's also about me reaching out to those who are lost and helping them find God. I want to help people because I've done things in the past that has made me drift away from God and I was scared, alone and vulnerable, and that's just not a fun place to be. I want to help any way I can. If you're reading this and you want to know more about God, let me know what you want to know and I will help you the best I can.

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is gone, the new has come."
